Goals & Lesson Planning & Writing
1) Goal: Your student needs a new job. What is something you need to keep in mind about your student as they are experiencing this need? What are some of the tasks that he will need to accomplish to do this? How will you incorporate this into lessons for your student over the next several weeks? What types of activities would be helpful. What real life tools wouold be useful? Brainstorm.
Go to the following website and do one of the lessons that would be helpful for your student in this situation - TV 411
2) Your student moved to a new town. What are some real life activities that you can use to help them learn their way around. Do they know their new address? Can they give someone directions to their new home?

Which activities could you incorporate into a lesson plan for them to make their learning relevant to their real life and everyday survival relating to their move? Important – in a situation like this your role is not to find them a job, but to give them the tools needed to do so. Remember this Chinese proverb? “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime. “
3) Writing Basic Sentences Please do the lesson so you can see what your student will experience. Do at least 3 questions in sections 2 and 3.
